FireFox Toolbars - Best Of Selection

It seems that I am in the mood of discovering more and more browser toolbars this month. Just recently I have recommended 3 browser toolbars, which are available for Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE).

Andy Beard says Google Toolbar Is Not Family Safe (↑) and removed it. Well, that might be true, simply don't let your Kids on your computer. There are many more areas of danger.

Today I have another 2 toolbars that I want to tell you about. Since I am using Firefox, I did not even check, if those or similar ones are available for IE.

Stop, complaining and finally get a decent browser:

Web Developer
by Chris Pederick

This very powerful toolbar is the right tool for Web developers, Web designers, and Web masters.

You can alter CSS inline and style sheet parameters and see immediately how ot affects the page you are viewing.

Also very useful are the information functions that will show you details on the design of the page: draw boxes for otherwise invisible <div></div> containers or tables, and much, much more. Go and check it out.

Web Developer Firefox Add-on (↑)

My favorite plugins:

Happy browsing

P.S.: Always be careful when downloading and installing third party software or extensions on your computer. Make sure they are from a trusted source, are free of Adware, Spyware, and viruses.

Does the new Alexa Sparky add-on kick out Google? What a surprise &mdash; for the first time I got search results surfed by Microsoft's Bing search engine. And I did not even intend that. All I wanted to do was to find a particular project for a Wave c

As a developer, i just cant imagine a computer without firefox browser.

I use FF with lots of developer related addons. All of them are valuable and time saving ones.

I use "cache status" , that is used to manage file cache from the status bar. Well i have to use it often when i need to refresh a page without any cache. I particularly use it when i need to refresh flash swf pages.

Color Zilla: It contains lots of features inside like eye dropper, color picker and even page zoomer. But i use it mainly to pick colors from the page that i see. The color values can be picked in any format. Hex or normal or with # or without #. , cool one,

IE Tab : Again as a developer i need to check a page how it looks in IE . hence i can view ie in FF itself.

Measure it : A ruler tool as well as it gives dimension of the selection in the page.

well, i use webdeveloper as well as html validator addons. All are very important to me.

Just wanted to share,

Thanks,

Regards,

It is great to see how many new add-ons there are for Fire Fox. One of the many great reasons to switch over to Fire Fox is how customizable it is.

My web site Ask Zach now has a tool bar out. It is a great way to keep people coming to my site.
