Google's Gmail Rejects Regular Email

Andy Beard (↑), who runs a Niche Marketing Blog, wrote yesterday, that Gmail did not deliver a plain text (↑), legitimate email that he had sent.

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 16): 554 The message was rejected because it contains prohibited virus or spam content

Probably one should use the Morse Code (↑) again to make sure emails get delivered? What do you think?

What is more important?

  • Less spam in any inbox or

Winning Titles And 8 Tips For More Traffic

“More readers” is your ultimate goal for your Blog. The more readers you attract on a regular basis, the more your Blog will work for you. Whatever you want to get out of it, like money, influence on public opinion, etc. Follow some basic rules for writing on the Web and the same kind of information you provide will gain more popularity.

Did you every write an article or a Blog post and many readers left a comment how great and valuable your info is. They say, they stumbled it, dugg it, bookmarked, printed it and put it on their board right in front of them. You feel flattered and think you have hit it this time.

Then later you look at your Web stats and recognize those readers were about the only ones that have read it. Sad story.

What went wrong? Most likely your title, your headline, sucks and probably your first paragraph, too.

To understand this you must realize how Web users find the way to your post. Your loyal readers, those who probably left the comments, have subscribed to your Blog's RSS feed, email announcement list or simply type in your URI and read whatever you write.

All the others, whose attention you wish to catch, only see a link to your site somewhere. Based on that link, they quickly decide: “Click or Not To Click”. How much they get to see depends on where they come across the link to your post. Here are a few examples.

Blog Review in Rapid Paced Mode

Who is doing this “Rapid Paced Blogging Experiment” and the Blog reviews? It's a guy named Fank Carr at his OpTempo.com (↑) Blog.

It's astonishing to watch him post more articles in a day than others write in one or two weeks or even one month. Frank has written on his About Page that his goal is to write at least 10 quality articles each day.

He is posting on a wide range of topics — from celebrity, offbeat-news, commentary on general topics to how-to articles and Internet of course, but he even can write well about philosophical concerns.

His articles and posts about the Internet caught my attention though somewhere. Now I remember, it was on Pat B. Doyle's (↑) Blog. Frank wrote a Blog review for her. That's how I found him.

I liked the review and because Frank is currently offering to write reviews, I contacted him. Not only are his reviews well structured and valuable, he writes them for free right now in order to promote his new Blog.

Attract International Buyers More Easily

Connect The World! Why would you want to limit yourself to any national market, if your product could potentially conquer markets world wide?

I don't see any reason.

But I am always astonished to see, how many Web masters and shop owners, don't explicitly encourage international customers.

If you are running your business in the USA, you are prone for to not giving it any extra thoughts, because your national market consists of about 300 million “heads”, and you consider your business to be in the center of “universe”, anyway.

I am not talking about the language issue here. The proper multi-lingual setup of a Web site deserves an article of its own.
